We are Inter-United Soccer Club

We believe that friendship is one of the most powerful forces on the planet. We have chosen to forge friendships in our local community and around the world to promote hope, love, and individuals who are fully alive.

We invest in individual hearts so they can continue the spread of positive impact by loving their community and investing in others.

OUR STORY

In 1997, Inter-United Soccer Club was founded in Apopka, Florida. The club started small with only 50 members but in less than ten years, it had grown to over 1,000 members. The goal was simple; create a positive environment for the community to play soccer.

In 2004, Inter-United (iU) began focusing on international growth and service. Since then, we have established lasting relationships in China, Haiti, Peru, Nicaragua, and Kenya. Our international programs include vocational training, access to education in underserved neighborhoods, and access to music, art, and soccer training.

Our focus, whether internationally or in our home city, is centered around cultivating lasting friendships & equipping our friends to serve their communities well.

In 2019, a team of volunteers from iU traveled to Kenya to begin our next chapter - an after-school program in the Soweto Slums. iU Academy opened its doors to 14 kindergarteners and first graders. Our work continues to this day – providing our growing student body a path, purpose, and hope-filled life.
