  • Jim Powell

    iU FOUNDER, PREMIER COACH & TRAINER

    As Inter-United Soccer Club’s President and Lead Trainer, Jim’s extensive experience and training philosophy have taken him around the world.

    With more than 30 years in personal training and coaching, Jim has developed a long list of elite athletes and soccer players - many of whom have gone on to play ODP, collegiate, professionally, and internationally.

    In 1997, Jim founded Inter-United Soccer Club to meet the needs of a growing community of players in Central FL. Within a few short years, the club had grown to over 1,000 players. Jim later merged IUS with Orange County Soccer Club to become the Florida Rush.

    Jim's coaching expertise and unique ability to draw out players’ individual prowess into a dynamic, elite team have also presented opportunities to serve the international community through soccer. He has directed international soccer clinics in Japan, China, Haiti, and Kenya.

  • Kim Reynolds

    iU CLUB DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR OF FNS LEAGUE

    Kim Reynolds is a native of Orlando, FL, and played collegiate soccer at Polk Community College (PCC) and the University of Central Florida (UCF). Kim gained National recognition as a 2 time All-American and Female Athlete of the Year at PCC along with the All-Conference Team at UCF.

    Kim played professionally for 7 years in the US and has traveled to play in China, Turkey, and Haiti.

    Kim worked with the youth both as a Coach, Private Trainer, and Technical Director over the Girl’s Elite Program. She brings a dynamic range of personal rapport, experience, and technical expertise to her players.

    Kim holds her F and D1 Coaching License for US Soccer and FYSA & more than 16 years of experience as a private soccer trainer.

  • Beto Aguilar

    iU ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, PREMIER COACH & LEAD GOALKEEPER TRAINER

    Beto played on the Stetson FA D1 Club team and served as Warner Southern College’s goalkeeper in the NAIA Division. In 2008, Beto joined Warner College’s Soccer program as the Assistant Women’s coach. There he assisted the Women’s Program in reaching The Sun Conference Tournament for the first time in the program’s history and led goalkeeper training and development. Beto later joined the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s women's soccer coaching staff where he oversaw the development of goalkeepers and assisted the women’s program in reaching the NAIA National Semi-Finals.

    Coach Beto has worked since 2014 for various clubs as Head Coach and Director of Goalkeeping.

    He currently serves as Head Coach at Matanzas high school where the boy’s team recently claimed 2 District championships and headed to regionals - a huge stride for the growing program.

    Beto’s passion for coaching has led him to seek: NSCAA Goalkeeping (Level I, II, & III), NSCAA Level 6 Coaching Certification, USSF E & D License
